Mr. Reimer's practice emphasizes the federal laws and regulations that govern the development and operation of transportation infrastructure, particularly airports. Mr. Reimer has represented clients in state and federal court and in administrative litigation and other proceedings.

Mr. Reimer provides counsel on many aspects of federal transportation law, including environmental, financial, development, safety, and related issues. With respect to airports, Mr. Reimer focuses on airport sponsor compliance with federal statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations. In addition, Mr. Reimer has represented numerous clients, written extensively, and spoken widely on the issue of airport proprietor rights, particularly in the context of airport noise rules and use restrictions.

Mr. Reimer has represented airport sponsors and airport users in a variety of settings on the lease and use of airport property; represented several local governments in managing their legal relationship with airports located within their community; represented various parties with respect to environmental review and other requirements for airport capital development; and represented numerous airport sponsors in developing, implementing and defending noise programs. Beyond airports, Mr. Reimer has worked on highway, rail, transit, and pipeline projects around the country.

Mr. Reimer has published several articles on federal transportation law and is a regular contributing author to the Journal of Airport Management. In addition to speaking often at industry conferences, Mr. Reimer is the principal planner for the Basics of Airport Law Workshop and Legal Update presented by the American Association of Airport Executives.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Reimer worked for several years for the U.S. National Park Service on environmental and public lands issues, including remediation of contaminated sites, cost recovery for damage to park resources, due diligence, environmental auditing, environmental health and safety, and environmental management.
